Hey Haddon Heads,

Just a quick update on where we are at with our plans for MK's Top Talent. We have been rehearsing hard and are feeling good about the way the routine is looking. We have had a bit of a shuffle with the line up of the band with Iain taking over as lead vocalist and Joseph now handling backing vocals. We will also be debuting our dramatic new look. Check out the pic. It's our version of Kraftwerk meets the White Stripes! We have been invited to practice our performance at MK Theatre on September 15TH. There will apparently be some experts there to offer tips and advice which will be good. Will post a blog and let you all know how it went next week. Don't forget to keep going to Heart F.M's website and keep voting for us and also to get your tickets if you have not already done so.

Paul here with all the latest from Haddon H.Q! If you didn't know already Haddon Beats have made it through to the final 40 of M.K's Top Talent! We are well chuffed and it look's like all the hours spent rehearsing were worthwhile. Now we need you guys to do us all a big favour and register your vote for us at

Also we really need supporters at our live heat at M.K Theatre on Friday October 2nd at 7.30.

There will be an audience vote so we need to get as many folks there as possible. Tickets are on sale now from M.K Theatre and are 7.50 each.

M.K's Top Talent Update.

Hey Haddonite's,

This is the M.K's Top Talent update as promised. 

We got through to the next round!!!!!!!

What was especially nice was the positive comments we received from all three judges, even the Simon Cowelly type harsh one! We arrived at the theatre at 8 am to register and were given slot 66 which gave us the chance to soak in the 65 acts before us. There were lots of young girl singers singing Miley Cyrus type songs which became a bit trying after a while :-(  There were some great acts amongst them though with some great ballroom dancers and a tiny irish dancer that stick in the mind. We will be returning on the 19th July for part two of our MK's Top Talent adventure so stay tuned for news and details as we get them!

Hey Beat Heads,

Its Paul here with all the latest news from Haddon Beats HQ. We are exited to announce we will be playing a set at Tower Drives Music Festival on Friday 7th August. More info on times and location to follow. We are all exited about this coming Sundays appearance at MKs got Talent at MK Theatre. We have two minutes to perform in front of three judges who are Cinderella producer Kevin Wood, local actress Louise Dearman and MK News editor David Gale. They will tell us then and there wether we will make it through to the callbacks on the 19th July. How utterly scary and exiting all at the same time! We are planning to perform our song " Keep It Movin' " which you can check out our myspace at myspace.com/haddonbeats. Our myspace by the way is looking all shiny and sparkly thanks to a bit of assistance from Haddon Beats official 7th member Mr David Savage. Hey Folks

Just to let you know about our new Haddon Beats Blog. This will be the first place to hear about our exiting adventures in pop music and beyond! Big thanks to Mr Savage for setting it up for us. We are currently rehearsing for our performance at MK Theatre as part of the M.K's Got Talent competition. More info on that to follow.
